 Have you ever wanted to know the best way to run a meeting? Does moving motions and tabling amendments leave you speechless? Then make sure to attend the upcoming educational at Parliament Hill Toastmasters! Earle DePass, DTM and District 61 Division D Governor, will be demonstrating to us the process of Parliamentary Procedure. The only better place to learn Parliamentary Procedure would be from the public gallery in the House of Commons!

Please note that our meeting this week will be held at Place de Ville (link to map, below), 320 Queen Street in Boardroom Craigellachie FC-27 on the Concourse level in the food court, just opposite Subway. The Area 30 Humourous Speech and Evaluation Contest is taking place this Wednesday, October 12, starting at 6 PM. The contest will take place at Place de Ville Tower C (320 Queen Street), in the meeting rooms by the lower lever food court (opposite the Subway). Parliament Hill Toastmasters members and guests are more than welcome to attend to help cheer on Dave as he competes with his humourous speech titled "Help". |
