If you have never attended a Toastmasters meeting before, you will be wondering what to expect. Although a Toastmaster from one Toastmasters club will recognize a meeting from another Toastmasters club, each club runs its meetings with a unique flavour.
At Parliament Hill Toastmasters, our meetings typically use the following agenda - 6:30 PM — Call to Order and Welcome

- Toast
- Story / Moment of Humour
- 6:50 PM — Introduction of the Toastmaster
- Introduction of the Roles
- General Evaluator
- Timer
- Grammarian
- Quiz Master
- VP Monitor / Ah Counter
- Fines Master
- 7:00 PM — Introduction of the Table Topics Master
- Table Topics - participants speak for 1 to 2 minutes each.
- 7:20 PM - BREAK
- 7:30 PM - Prepared Speeches - speakers generally speak for 5 - 7 minutes or 8 - 10 minutes.
- 8:00 PM — Introduction of the General Evaluator
