Congratulations to Dave for winning the Area 44 Humourous Speech Contest held on Thursday, October 16th. There were 2 other very worthy competitors from Ottawa Hospital Toastmasters and Laughing Matters Toastmasters, but Dave managed to come out on top!

Next stop is the Division E finals, which take place on Wednesday, October 29th in the CMHC building at 700 Montreal Road. Let's all be there and show Dave our support!

Kudos also to Philippe, who competed in the Area 44 Evaluation Contest. Although he did not win, we were all very impressed since this was his first time competing as an evaluator.
